Marine Quarter is a major high-rise residential development positioned near the Broadwater in Southport. The project has involved a complex delivery environment, with the scale, location and project history requiring strong coordination, practical construction management and clear oversight across key stages of delivery.
BDCM provided project delivery support for Marine Quarter, working alongside Buildcap and Groupline Constructions to help progress the development through a challenging construction phase. BDCM’s involvement included support across delivery coordination, quality control, financial restructuring, daily progress monitoring, remedial works and broader project recovery requirements.

BDCM’s Role in Delivery Support
BDCM provided practical delivery support during a challenging stage of the Marine Quarter project. The involvement required a hands-on construction management approach, with BDCM working alongside Buildcap and Groupline Constructions to help bring structure, coordination and momentum to the project environment.
This support extended across daily progress monitoring, quality control, financial restructuring, remedial works and broader project recovery requirements. Through this role, BDCM contributed to the systems and site-level oversight needed to help progress a complex high-rise development through a demanding construction phase.
Quality Control, Remedial Works and Daily Monitoring
Marine Quarter required close oversight across both construction progress and completed works. BDCM’s role included daily monitoring to help maintain visibility across site activity, identify issues early and support more consistent communication between the parties involved in delivery.
Quality control and remedial works were also an important part of BDCM’s involvement. On a project of this scale, practical site review, clear reporting and timely follow-up were needed to help manage outstanding works, resolve construction issues and support the project’s continued progression.
Commercial Oversight and Project Restructuring
Alongside site-level delivery support, BDCM contributed to the commercial oversight required to help move Marine Quarter forward. This included support around financial restructuring, project reporting and the practical review of works needed to bring greater clarity to the delivery process.
On complex projects, commercial structure and construction progress need to be considered together. BDCM’s involvement helped support a more coordinated approach between the project’s financial, contractual and site delivery requirements, allowing key decisions to be informed by both commercial realities and practical construction conditions.
